The General Editor contains 17 different fields to
control overall setup of a portfolio. Some
of the key fields include:
Number of Assets
This ranges from 1 asset to 100 assets. The
assets can be individual holdings or asset classes.
Number of Periods
This ranges from 1 to 120 periods.
Periods Per Year
This ranges from 1 for Annual to 365 for Daily. The daily option includes a
companion Day Calendar to select active days in a two year window.
Default Tax Authority
PORTAX has internal tax
tables for the top marginal tax rates for over 50 countries including states,
provinces and selected
municipalities. Additionally, a user
can select customized, time varying tax rates.
